Chicken Run, Tooth Fairy, Beach, Easter Bunny

A lot has been going on at our house:

Chicken Run: Dolly finally got some feathers and so the chickens moved out of the house and into their coop. As you can see, they are very happy about this and are roosting in the Rhododendron branches in their run.

Tooth Fairy: Finn had a wiggly tooth. We told him he better get it out before we saw Niffer and Scott at the beach or they’d try and get it out. It came out at recess and into the bark chips. Luckily the Tooth Fairy found it. Finn was laughing so hard about loosing it he was almost crying when he told us.

Beach: Hildi made an egg at school. Of course it is blue, like the fish she named at school called Blue Monkey. She was quite proud of this egg, but now likes to squeeze things as hard as she can (like eggs and tomatoes) to see what happens . . . we brought her egg with us to the beach and were treated to one sunny evening so made the most of it. The next day was not so nice, so Sarah took the kids to Cape Mears to see the lighthouse and Octopus Tree. As you can see we could only jump around and build with Legos for so long.

Easter Bunny: We had Easter breakfast with the Bailey’s then headed to Salem to see the Harringtons and new baby bulldogs. Their cousin Zach told a skeptical Steve and Finn about how Jesus died on the cross and then came back alive. The cousins also performed talents in exchange for Easter Candy. Unfortunately Sarah did not get shots of Mason’s magic show nor shots of Devin and Justin, who with their long hair looked more like girls than boys to us! Still very cute.
