Thanks to our neighbor, we found a home in Lebanon, OR for our roosters. It turns out the place she was getting her new German Short Hair puppy Tess, was from a big 4-H family. She delivered them along with supplies and books Finn made about each (baby pictures, where their names came from, their characteristics, breed, etc.). Reports say that they are doing well. The puppy is darling. Finn said, "Hildi we are getting a new puppy today." It is just the kind we like, see it when you want to, don't when you don't.
Hildi brought home a monkey too - not a real one, a build a bear kind. She of course named him Blue Monkey and picked out glasses that when she puts them on makes her look like John Lennon.
The baby chicks are growing fast. Right now they are in that ugly ducking phase. Angel likes to go on the attack now that she's alone. So we are slowing introducing them and making some progress. They get us outside everyday to see our garden's progress. Hildi told Steve the other day, "Dad your bok choy is coming along nicely." He was so proud.
