Luckily for Steve, Finn seems to have a natural gravitation toward things mechanical. For a boy of four, Finn has logged a fair number of hours in the shop with Dad enjoying “junk TV” like Sponge Bob Square Pants on an old black and white TV, sneaking peeks at scantily dressed females in a calendar Sarah’s mom gave to Steve and having easy access to the keg fridge (also full of pop). But, it was not until last month that Finn had his first restoration project. He inherited a bike from his cousin Trask. The project started with a tire needing a new tube and needing to add some training wheels. Steve and Finn decided instead that they would completely rebuild the bike. They took it apart, replaced some key parts, stripped the paint, did a custom paint job, reassembled and added some flame stickers (and a few from National Champ Rider neighbor Taylor).
