Check out what we are talking about at
www.visitourworld.com/041307. Like Déjà vu, Hildi’s chewing on rib bones like brother Finn used to do. He’s moved on. No longer are we dressing him in costumes, he’s dressing himself (see Mr. Incredible). Hildi is now reliably sitting, trying to walk and able to crawl backwards. Oh – and she learned how to do a glamour smile like Nana. Things aren’t changing too drastically. Finn still thinks oysters are sick (Steve’s been picking them up when checking on our new beach property – spec house II starting soon). We are busy but we find time for game night – Mousetrap is a favorite of the builders. K-nects is another favorite. Maybe most amazing this past 60 days is Finn’s overnight ability to write Finn and spell out Finley. He went from barley able to make F’s (and we didn’t put much effort in) to just writing Finn, no big deal. No help needed. In early March we took at trip to Sunriver with our company. The guys working the sled run called Finn “Evil Kenvel” and asked if he thought he was 12. After one run down the BIG hill, he was hooking himself up on the tow rope and going down solo and head first. Hildi got her first sled in too. Steve and Sarah joined in the fun. The weather’s been nice enough to get out some. Finn and Hildi like chasing each other around in the garage. Finn and Steve

have gotten in the garage too. They started making some kind of snake looking toy out of old hoses and parts – now they are working restoring Trask’s old bike. Steve and Sarah have been going nuts in the yard, getting ready for summer. Hildi likes to feel everything. Hands, feet, doesn’t matter. She loves to study texture and things close up. She really enjoyed painting at school with her hands and feet. Finn continues to have a blast with his cousins. As you can see they aren’t ALWAYS the best influence. He sees Kindel and Trask quite a bit at the beach and had a special “Boys Party” with big cousins Justin, Mason and Devin . . . they all ended up with poison oak! An Irish Wedding polished off March. You’ll see Hildi and Steve looked the part.
