What a wild four-day weekend. Ours started out cleaning condo sludge from our past condo renter but luckily it got better from there. Sarah played her 9 month pregnancy card and go Steve to do most of the dirty work. As you can see from photos, Sarah's getting quite big with Hildi due to arrive at the end of the month. Saturday night we dined like royalty with
Baby Charlotte and her parents Amy and Remo. A nice break from painting and doing handiwork in a 90 degree condo.
On Sunday we picked more cherries, blueberries and raspberry's than we could eat at Oma & Opa's. The cherry's were perfection, the trees were loaded. Later that day we celebrated Steve and Justin's birthday at Angie's beautiful new house. There we met her new man Dave and his kids Hannah and Issac. A
spontanious hair cutting party broke out. We wonder if Anne is talking to Jon who followed in his dad and brother's steps of embracing baldness with a No. 2 blade.

Then we were off to the beach where temperatures dropped from 90 to 60 degrees. There we celebrated Steve's birthday. His best (and nearly only

present - afterall what do you get a guy that has everything) was a sign off on the final inspection of our now sold Nedonna Beach house project. We spent the next two days hanging out on the
beach, shooting fireworks, watching a parade downtown and participating in a parade around Pine Loop. That was Finn's favorite part -- he didn't quite get the idea that "All American Eagle Man" was supposed go behind the lead car. He had in his mind that it was more of a race than a parade. He said, "I'm the winner," after an exhausting three laps. The best part? We made it home in time to watch the big fireworks shows on tv in bed.
