Punkfest 2009

We have always loved Halloween and we needed a good laugh after our kitchen computer took a dive, our car got broken into, the gas line to our BBQ leaked, we got our property tax bill and more. Oh yeah, and this turned out good, but was stressful. Steve's Dad Opa had a big surgery to remove a growth removed behind his spine near his brain stem (all better now). So excuse these out of sequence photos of Hildi and her friends Piper, Maddie and Hadley at Peterson Farms, some carving at home, the Chapman Halloween Parade, a Halloween Day soccer game and a visit to Mamama and Papapa's in costume. With all parties, trips to the hospital, etc. we made good use of our costumes. Each of the kids dressed up four days. Sarah dressed up two because Finn said, "If I have to dress like a Barbie (pirate with jewelery), then you have to wear what I tell you to." It seemed fair and Sarah easily transforms to a witch. Haven't you heard?
