Staying home for the weekend almost feels like a vacation. Finn and Steve got a chance to build a roost for Finn’s friend’s birthday party (he has chickens too) and hang out with our hens. Finn enjoyed Gabe’s party where he ran into a bunch of friends from kindergarten he hasn’t seen in weeks. Hildi joined in too. We got so hot, we decided to ditch Kindel’s game and hit the swimming pool instead. Good choice! When Steve was a shark, he was pretty menacing. The kids liked him being a dolphin much more.
