Angel is in one of those awkward stages. I think most of us looked the same way when we were in sixth grade. Her feathers are mostly in, but check out that scraggly chicken neck. I’m sure the other hens talk behind her back since she generally is in charge and laugh about her incomplete feathers. She keeps trying to escape and can fly up six inches or so. Boots is very curious. We should have named her Turbo. She runs and flaps and seems to go from one point to another with no movement in between. Dolly is the late bloomer and is shy around the camera. We did get one shot of her roosting with Monkey. Monkey walks on blue legs like a big dog, I think I will say silly (to steal from Kendra’s award winning Elephant poem). Check out some up close shots.
