This past weekend at the beach Steve surprised Finn, Hildi and Sarah when he showed up with the green machine he drove from the construction site, even though it was 50-something and windy, Finn ran around the beach in his undies, Hildi tried to surf like Kindel, and Trask showed that he had way too much energy and creativity. Saturday night we used Nif’s upcoming birthday to eat cake and get very silly (as you will see). The next day Sarah and the kids trekked to the little river (twice) where the kids had a ball building dams, climbing driftwood and generally getting soaked. On the way home, Sarah’s shortcut got her, Hildi and the buggy marooned on the Shorewood boulders. Kindel saved Hildi, Sarah managed to save herself and all the Croc’s in the back of the buggy, but got wet up to the waist in the process.
