November zoomed past. We spent several days sick, spent more time working on the beach house, and visited the Nelson's and their new place on Savuie's Island. There, Hildi's love for horses was stoked watching the neighbor's mares eat out of Finn's hands. The kids continue to surprise us. One night, Finn decided to write, "Dad I love you," on the chalkboard, and did it with little help. Another night we spent two hours collecting beautiful leaves in NW Portland for decorations. 
And, as if it was the best weekend ever, we had TWO kids' birthday parties in one day (Hildi loved tagging along as you can tell at right). We hosted Thanksgiving at our place for the Harringtons, hit the beach the following day with the Robinsons and were surprised by Aunt Dianne's family showing up the day after . . .More pictures.
