Who would have ever expected snow in March? Well, we got it. Probably about 6 inches (although the news reported 8 at our altitude). Neighbors Sally and Rick got us out to do some sledding, and not being shy, got Finn in front of the News Channel 8 cameras hanging out on the corner of Skyline. When Finn wouldn't talk, I mean NOT A WORD, to the reporter, Sarah opened her (big) mouth and ended up have a few minutes saying, "He's been waiting for enough snow to build a snowman all year and finally got it," and something about, "Loving living up here and getting the challenge of getting off the hill." Steve played back the spot that aired on the 10 and 11 o'clock news a few times. AND NOW CAPTURED IT at http://www.visitourworld.com/sarahFinTV.mpg. Don’t blink or you’ll miss it! And, beware this is not dial-up friendly!! Hearing, "Three-year-old Finley Harrington and friends . . ." on the news really tripped us out. Oma should be proud. We were both wearing our hand-knitted hats.
