Look at me, pod hands! Well, if they could get a real camera in here and some good lighting I'd look like the baby in the photo at right. The ultrasound technician said today that I look, "Perfect." She estimates that I'm eight weeks and two days old which means I should arrive around Mom's birthday, July 31st. See, I'm already thinking if her. What a present.
Brother Finn wants me out, now. He and Dad saw me moving around and saw my heart beating so doesn't understand why the doctor can't just get me out. So, since he has to wait, the doctor gave him some pictures (shot of one above). Yep, that's me!
Mom will see the doctor on Friday to learn more about the 10cm cyst, about the size of a large lemon, they found. It is likely the cause of cramping. They say it is nothing to worry about, quite normal -- in fact Mom had a small one last time -- but it is larger than her whole uterus. This makes her happy because now she has an excuse for how big her belly already is!
